In 1883, a union resolution in the United States of America declared the first Monday in September of each year a day off for workers. It's easy to see how such an idea could catch on quickly. SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). In some ways, you feel like you're a one-person show. You fulfill many different roles in a day, and then at the end of the day, there is only one of you to take a bow during the curtain call.

I would be curious as to whether there was actually wine sediment in your glass or not. Perhaps the man was only flirting with you. Sediment or no, when it comes to fortunetelling, the accuracy of the prediction may depend more on the fortuneteller than the method.

CELEBRITY PROFILES: In the spirit of typical Virgo perfectionism, Adam Sandler writes and produces many of his own movies and in doing so has developed a style all his own. Perhaps not so typical is the amount of Virgo energy Sandler has flowing through his natal chart. His sun, Mercury, Venus, Uranus and Pluto are all in this diligent, analytical sign.
