Spices add more than just flavor to your food. Most of the tasty and aromatic herbs offer a number of health benefits.

Oregano is the spice that gives pizza its familiar flavor, but it also has powerful anti-inflammatory properties, according to a recent article in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
